ADDENDUM TO PREVIOUS CLAIM TO STATE FARM INSURANCE: REVISED ITEMIZATION AND VALUATION OF STOLEN PROPERTY FROM DR. DIANE K. OLSON'S HOME, SUBMITTED TO STATE FARM INSURANCE ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 1st, 3:26 AM

NOTICE & ADDENDUM DATED MONDAY, OCTOBER 1st, 2018, 3:37 PM,   TO STATE FARM INSURANCE REGARDING A MAJOR HOME THEFT AND VANDALISM AND STOLEN PROPERTY FROM MY HOME (DR. DIANE K. OLSON’S HOME AT 88th STREET, WEST DES MOINES, IOWA) WHILE I WAS GONE TO THE HOSPITAL FROM THE DATES OF AUGUST 2nd, 2018 AND SEPTEMBER 14th, 2018.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WERE STOLEN FROM MY (DR. DIANE K. OLSON’S) HOME SOMETIME BETWEEN AUGUST 2nd, 2018 AND SEPTEMBER 14th, 2018

Two photo albums full of childhood & adult family photographs – stolen – (irreplaceable) value $500,000 dollars or more

Personal journals – four personal journals from 2018 and 2017, stolen & vandalized value (irreplaceable) $200,000 dollars or more

Childhood and teenage memorabilia (4-H Club projects, clothes & ribbons, etcetera) value (irreplaceable) $40,000 dollars or more

Two family videos from childhood, including video of me sledding with my mom and brother as a child (irreplaceable) value $45,000 dollars or more

Collection of silver coins (collectibles)( from Kongsberg, Norway (where silver is mined) from the 1980’s worth over a million (1,000,000) dollars – all stolen & irreplaceable – value 1 million dollars

My Drake University Honors Medallion, Solid Silver, value $25,000 dollars

A Norwegian, family-heirloom broach from my grandmom (irreplaceable) value $5,000 dollars

Another Norwegian, family-heirloom broach from my host family in Norway during the 1980’s value $10,000 dollars

A Silver Imac Computer with Personal & Professional files (irreplaceable) $1,500

Sweaters (8), Slacks (9), Shirts (10), Pants (Yoga & Dress Pants 4), Jackets (4) Underwear & Socks (leaving me very little clothes in my closet) total value $4,500 dollars

Apple White Laptop (also, stolen) value $750 dollars

A Samsung, Flat Screen television value $700 dollars

Pink Cross Painting, Signed, value $75 dollars

Painting “Celebrate Life”, Signed, value $100 dollars

Hewlett Packer Printer, value $150 dollars

They took an address book with family’s & friend’s addresses (personal item & irreplaceable), $4,500 dollars

Mikasa China Plates & Dishes, value $1250 dollars

Cross Necklaces, value $135 dollars

Earrings, value $175 dollars

Two cellphones, value $400 dollars

Also stolen were a ledger of checks and deposit slips from my bank with account numbers & a multitude of financial documents/records from the past four years, $125,000 dollars at the very least

Nature’s Sunshine Herbs and Vitamins from my cupboard (very expensive see www. Naturesunshine.com for price estimates), totaling in value of $750 dollars’

They also emptied a library of books and stole & vandalized books used for my professional work as a university professor of at least the value of $25,000 dollars (I can name nearly all of the books stolen, if necessary, which are for my work and employment)

They stole business/professional cards for a total value of $100 dollars.

They stole music CD’s for a total value of $500 dollars

Addendum to Previous Claim of State Farm Insurance:

Sewing Machine, $2000

Light Weight Contemporary Bookshelves $150 dollars

Mom's Heirloom Jewelry Chest (5 stackables, cherry wood)containing numerous pieces of authentic, heirloom jewelry $1 million to $1.5 million dollars, estimated value

2 (two) stolen video cameras $2,000 dollars

4 (four) irreplaceable video tapes taped on those video cameras, one video of my apartment & surrounding areas in Atlanta, Georgia and another video of my grandma in her home in 2002 before she passed away in 2004 and another video of legal documentations and another video of my grandparent executing the last will & testimony, estimated value of these irreplaceable video tapes $1 million dollars (this is a very serious case of theft, State Farm, so this is a conservative estimate of these irreplaceable videos which went missing without us noticing until we did a reassessment of the premises). 

3 (three) more irreplaceable, personal journals from the early and mid 2000's belonging to Dr. Diane K. Olson, estimated value of 1 million dollars

2 (two) Sony digital cameras $1,000 dollars

2 Apple laptop computers $1,500 dollars
